Default Hatton overtakes Barrera on The Ring's p4p list

Hatton moved up to #8 p4p moving Barrera down to #9
He now sits right behind Calzaghe.

Winky is number three in my mind, Hatton is above Calzaghe.

I made a post about these Ring rankings a couple of days ago.

I guess they are ok in as much as all ten fighters deserve to be p4p but imo the order is completely off.

Winky has been number three for months then last week he gets demoted to 5th, replaced by the Marquez brothers despite the fact that none of them have fought in the last 2-3 months

I guess they felt the Marquez brothers were looking real good in sparring or something

And add to that the fact that Jermain Taylor has managed has to work his way out of the rankings altogether despite two succesful title defenses.

What makes this all the more intriguing is that following a DRAW with Wright in a fight most felt he lost he went UP in the Ring rankings

And Bernard, despite not boxing at all this year has managed to climb back up to 6th.

I'm starting to think that the Boxrec rankings actually make more sense

Hatton has to be above Calzaghe on recent results maybe not form but Ricky's won away from home three times in a row now Calzaghe's never been further than Germany and Denmark still only fighting the guys that are willing to come over here.

Well,I have always thought RING was over rated, but I like the 1 title and no sanctioning fees idea. It's still totally un-official though.

    Anyway:

How the hell can JT not be there?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I'm not sure MAB should be there anymore.

I was unsure about Cotto being there, even though I love the guy but I find it hard to place anyone above him for 10th place.

Winky should be at 4,I think Rafa deserves 3.

Dilemmas start arising in the future: BhOP-WInky,JT-Pavlik,Manny MAB,the winner of the WW tourney etc!

Does Rafa get credit for beating Vazquez again?
Ditto Manny and MAB?And if Manny wins impressively, does he go to number 1?

    lol

Its funny how the "where Is JT" if Jt should be in there then so should cory spinks, and he should be higher, a former WW just lossing (who won in most peoples eyes) against the undisputed Mw champ...

funny how when hatton was still winning people wer eout in numbers saying how he should be moved off there... but now hes done well with castillo brush that under the carpet and lets moan Jermain i fight LMW Taylor is no longer there...

Its about time he got dropped coz for the last few fights no fucking way has he been P4P top 10...

i mean shit, bein in that list means you one of the top 10 boxer sin the world right now, and HELL NO is he, not going by his last few fights!

i'm not hating taylor, im really not, i want himt o pull his finger out of his ass and show what he can do.. but fact is fact people you gotta get over the fact that he "beat" the oh so old great, hopkins...
