I know Im a bit late here but I only just got round to watching this fight but wow! Jones has got a lot more left than I thought he had - The speed, the movements, the ego! Ok not as great as he once was but its all still there, even if only in short bursts. I dont doubt he'll pick up a genuine world title again pretty soon.

Cheers for the vid JBF, I hadn't seen any of the fight, and I won't make too many judgements from those two rounds. However, Jones looked exhausted, and all the work was coming from Hanshaw. However, Jones only needed 20 seconds of activity to put Hanshaw down, and that obviously bodes well for his future prospects, even if he is just a shadow of the former undisputed champ.

I though Jones was lucky to get that win. Watching the fight I thought he wouldve been lucky to get a draw.

, i thought he won clearly regardless of bein on the ropes, but i can agree on the fact that he has to be alot busier

Hanshaw may have been the busier fighter but he wasn't landing much, the quality was coming from Jones he couldn't miss with the straight right all night long. TBH i think Jones could have ended the fight whenever he felt like it but he needed the rounds.

WOOOOOW¬!!!" jones still has the speed!!!!
the two hook-uppercut combo he hit shaw with,i couldnt even see it when played, nd in slow mo i can just see it!!!! i thought JC is fast. jones can throw faster 2 or 3 shots imo, whereas joe just throws fast slapping flurries.

i say roy calls george foreman out of retirement, it'll be ppv! nah jus kidding, foreman will still spark him.

I cant see the Hopkins fight coming off, both guys think they are the biggest attraction and make ludicrous money demands, I dont think Roy wants anything to do with Hopkins he said something bout it after the Hanshaw fight. As long as Roy stays away from Calzaghi he should be ok because i dont think he will be able to handle the work rate and if he stays on the ropes he'll get KOed

Agreed Calzaghi doesn't have the power but a 38 year old Roy Jones, would he be able to match Calzaghi's work rate? Would this not turn into a one sided UD

Didn't think he looked too bad, but the opponent was only Hanshaw. I think he may have a chance at a title, but not a unification.

Very fast for a 38 year old.
