    Default Daniel Ponce De Leon

Hes up tonight and i look forward to this one! It should be an exciting battle and i do believe that De Leon has a bit too much for him at this early stage of Reys carrer. I was reading on fightnews before that hes started to box a lot more and hes getting out of this habit of always trying to get the ko, he said he still uses the power but hes not slugging as much. I feel that De Leons power will expose him and Reys guard isnt the best. Im thinking a KO win for De Leon.

    what does everyone else think?

RB wins this one by late-round TKO. DeLeon's body will give up.

He's raw, crude and so unconventional and I also think he confirmed himself as P4P one of the hardest hitters in the game today. I think he actually suits being a head hunter because he has so much power,I don't think being a volume fighter is his best, most effective style.

hahahaha. I guess we nailed it huh? It might of been 2-3 hours after we saw the fight, but we nailed it.

What did i telll you, De Leon is a very hard hitter, in his prime and this was bound to happen. I didnt think it would be the first round but its such a great shame for Rey because he has the chance to become such a great fighter and this wasnt the route he should have taken because of De Leon being so dangerous.

I acctually feel we will see if rey has what it takes to become a champion now on his recovery route, best luck to him!

Well done De Leon lets hope he can really push a fight with the top fighters now.

I like De Leon but honestly I think in a couple years Steve Molitor and maybe even Bernard Dunne will clean out these divsions.

Everyone raves about Vazquez and Marquez but mark my words, once Molitor get's his chance he'll be whupping everyone at super bantam and featherweight, maybe super feather too.

Whilst I agree Molitor is a good fighter, I don't think he'd beat either Vazquez or Marquez. These 2 hit way too hard for anyone in the division. Ponce would have a punchers's chance v Molitor, becaseu he's so dam heavy handed but his technique could be ruthlessly exposed.

I don't see any evidence that woulld suggest he could beat such established fighters either.

I just noticed that we have 2/3 of boxings P4P hardest hitters in the same division(Ponce Rafa and Israel!) Wow!

De Leon can bang no question but is wide open on with it and pretty reckless at times.
Molitor v De Leon would be a cracker

I've also read that Roach heard Ponce De Leon mention he would rematch Penelosa in the Phillipines! That would be awesome!

great win for ponce, I was hoping for rey to knock him out but he never allowed young boom boom to get loose.

He expose booms booms age and took the phillipines baby boy out before he can grow into an monster.

I've noticed over the years that I can make far more accurate predictions about fights after they've ended.
