Default Sprott to face Akinwande for EU title

    http://www.frankwarren.tv/drill/News...n-eu-date.html

In a remarkable break in tradition, Warren has arranged for one of the big four british heavyweights to a face a fighter who is not also one of the big four british heavyweights. He'll actually face 41-year old Henry Akinwande for the title, although I'm somewhat confused as the last holder of the belt was....Michael Sprott.

Apparently it'll be in Germany where Akinwande is based, and is probably the best Sprott could hope for after he was implicated in being responsible for the heinous crime against boxing which was his fight against Skelton last month.

I know. Yet ITV bummed Skelton and said he deserved credit for trying to make a fight. To me, all he did was try and eat Sprott.

It's hard to believe Akinwande used to hold a world title isn't it?

As Sprott is the loser of that dire encounter....he is given a chance to win back his old title before Skelton's bout it announced. I reckon Skelton will get put in with someone maybe as an official title eliminator, but its the best he can hope for.

i would rather watch a fucking insurance advert than another sprott fight.

Why is Sprott keep getting these chances when he don't deserve it ?? in his last fight he didn't even throw punches even his corner slapped him in the face and said your giving the crowd a load of shite Sprott can be decent but he goes hot and cold in every fight he doesn't deserve any sort of shot after that disgraceful performance.

I agree, but at the end of the day he never lost this title....so he should be given a chance to win it back.
