Is it alright to punch the heavy bag and punch in front of a mirror, all in one workout? And if so, which should you do first? The mirrorboxing, or the heavy bag?

Both on the same night is fine in fact it's really good. Shadow box first to warm up practice moving around slipping jabs etc. then hit the bag and shadow box again at the end of your workout to cool down.
yea i hit the bag first tho...then shadow box, but i guess ur right on shadow boxing b4 it
It don't matter. Shadowboxing infront of the mirror is great, and shadowboxing is a good way to warm up. There's absolutely nothing wrong with shadowboxing and bagwork all in one session. Just make sure you are already warmed-up and pumped up before you maul the bag.Originally Posted by DMD3.

If you hear a voice within you saying that I am not a painter, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.
i would say
shadowbox
bag work
shadowbox
then you have a warm-up and a warm-down also.
It's the new cat again, okay, I got a 100-lb weight set that I had since my sophomore year in high school and i got a bench my cousin gave me recently(It's my senior year now and I'll be out that b***h real soon) and i got the hand grips I brought from sears. is it okay to keep lifting the 100-lb that i got at home even though i'm 185.5 lbs. and im 5'9'' until i can go to a local gym?,( there's one right around the corner from me but I don't have time since i work pretty much) and will i get stronger if i keep lifting the 100-lb i got? and the shadowboxing part i do pretty good at since i train doin that in front the mirror, and i sweat quickly, does that mean im doin it good or bad? (sometimes i think i do bad at it). and one last thing, will fruits and vegetables help you gain some speed and stamina? (I ate apples lately, and when i jog in my team games class, i seem to keep going). i feel as if im improving.

I've just gotten out of school. I'm graduating this weekend. I'm having a hard time finding a job, though.
that's good about you graduating, but the job part don't worry something will come up, but for real, is it okay to keep lifting the 100LB I got at home? and will I get stronger still lifting that much weight?
