If true, it would definitely be demoralizing getting stopped by your sparring partner. Seeing Valero's record it's highly possible the guy's a PACMAN on steroidsOriginally Posted by Pacstraightleft

It's just a foolish rumor out of the Philippines. If Barrera was really knock out in sparring, it would of been hotly reported every where.
I think this fight has a foregone conclusion. Pacquaio by stoppage.
Its bullshit
If it were true Barrera would not go through with the fight
Its just more mind games, making Manny think it gonna be an easy nights work
Now it may be, he could blow Marco away but I think Barrera took this fight to reverse the first one, he wouldnt want another beating this late in his career.
He wants to go out a winner and to beat Manny would be an achievment in itself
Marco is also probably sore that his bitter rival Morales gave Manny a good beating and he didnt
True or not, any fighter cannot breach a contract from a silly KD. And why many people thinking Manny is taking this fight lightly? He ran 100+ miles up and downhills in the Phil. He already have 112 sparring sessions against bigger guys in less than a month and will have more @ wild card gym in hollywood.Originally Posted by ross
Whether PAC is taking MAB lightly or not the fact remains that he trained only under 6 weeks for this fight which is less than Barrera's preparation.Originally Posted by Pacstraightleft

From the way how Barrera speak about this fight, he sounds like he's been preparing/conditioning for Pac since late 2003.Originally Posted by Pavlik

With Barreras metal plate and another tragedy recently why would the commision let barerra fight 2 weeks after getting knocked out in sparring ?
Steve Collins retired 1 week before he was due to defend against calzaghe because Howard Eastman kod him in sparring.
If you are getting actualy sparked in sparring its not wise to fight soon after, Barrera wouldnt want to chance the humiliation, fights can be rescheduled, ask sam Peter

You should be concerned for Mannys health, look at Barreras face after the Marquez(guy who beat Manny) fight. Then look at Marquez's face. Barrera had a little nick under his eye and Marquez eye was swollen up and he had fat ass lips.Originally Posted by Pacstraightleft
I'm a pacfan. Ofcourse I'm concern about MP's health, always. That's a given thing . JMM beat Pac? JMM got the critical draw with the help of judge Clemens. That would be another long debate so peace be with you on that one bro. I cannot believe you're judging fights from the outcome of facial damages.Originally Posted by No Contest
If you throw out the first round, Marquez won I dont judge fights by the facial damage but was clearly using that as an example that Barrera can still hold his own.
Right, and all those fights where someone is ahead, but then KOed in the last round, would have won if they threw out that last round!Originally Posted by No Contest
I think it's you who should be concerned about MAB's health. MAB had barely thrown punches to pacquaio last time they met.Originally Posted by No Contest
