    Default Question about Pavlik Taylor

Why did Pavlik sign for a rematch clause when he was the WBC mandatory challenger?

Seems to me they were worried otherwise why have a silly clause for a higher weight. All that sh#t Steward talked but they were worried about an outcome like last nights, and think fighting him at 166 is somehow going to change the outcome next time. Maybe it will

Because this is type of chicken shiet negotiations Lou DiBullShiet get's away with.

No title belt is at stake if they fight at a higher weight so what is the point? Jermain said he will only fight for big money but, Pavlik is the champion now and should be taking the larger sum of the purse. I am not sure a rematch will do anything for Taylor and if he get's knocked out again, think of what this is going to do for his mental game. If I were Taylor, I would move up and try to get a shot at a trinket in the Super Middle weight. Kelly will impove his game and fix his mistakes. Taylor is not as sharp and takes more than one fight to improve his overall game in the ring (IMO) Taylor is still vulnerable in the corners and on the ropes.
