Default Who has fought the best competition?

It occured to me there are a few fighters out there that have some terrific resumes.

I think the obvious one is ODLH, his opponent list reads like a who's who of boxing of the last 15 years.
Mayweather Mayorga Hopkins Mosely Vargas Trinidad Gatti Quartey Chavez Camacho Whitaker Leija
and there are more top contenders Sturm Paez Dorsey Castillejo Carr Campas

    That is an amazing list.
Is it the best of current era? Is it the best of all time?
Has anyone else fought so many great fighters in a 43 fight career?
The only pne i can think of that is close of current fighters is Holyfield.
Tyson, Lewis, Toney, Bowe, Foreman, Moorer, Holmes, Douglas, Mercer, Byrd, Qawi, Rahman, Ruiz, Ibragimov.

Who in history has had better lists than these guys?

I can't think of any fighters that have fought so many top guys than Oscar. I always say it but if you fight the best their is your losses don't mean shit.

With winning records? If average records count, just look at Emmanuel Augustus, he has fought everyone and their cousin. Mayweather's record is damn good as well, whoever think he hasnt fought top notch oppnents is crazy, and I dont want to start another debate on that subject

Mosley- Molina, leija, Holiday, Johnson, DLH, Diaz, Taylor, Forrest, Wright, Vargas, Collazo, Cotto

James Toney- Jones, Jirov, Butler, Williams, Peter, Ruiz, Guinn, McCallum, Thadzi, Mateen

There are a ton of guys with great resumes...I would be here all night trying to sort out who gets the nod trying to figure out at what point in their careers guys beat certain guys etc to actually get an accurate account

Judah has fought Cotto, Mayweather, Kosta, Spinks 2 and is close to fighting Oscar, that's a great list

Oba Carr fought Tito, Oscar, Quartey, Mosley
Vargas fought Tito, Oscar, Mosley 2, Quartey, Wright, Mayorga

Many list can be named that are just as good as Oscar's

Its easy start spouting "Anthony Ivory,Simmie Black and Reggie strickland... Its one thing to say you were in the same ring with the big ones but To actually "Compete" and keep it a real competition is another.

Wow no one has mention Sugar Ray Leonard his list of good people Duran, Hagler, Hearns, Benitez, Noris, Comacho, Mayweather, Kulale, Green, Ranzany and Lalonde some of those names are great and good contenders i think it is a good looking resume pluse he had less fights then Oscar. Not to mention he had a winning record with most of his big fights and avenged his losses until he fought till he was to old to.

    Poor ole' Bernard.

    He can't do shit right.

On top of having a HOF career in the bag of 54 fights, 48 wins & 32 ko's with 13 in the first round, working his title for 20 defences, & fighting names like Johnson, Roy Jones jr, Eastman, De La Hoya, Taylor, Joppy, Trinidad, Wright, Holmes, & Tarver...he can't even make it onto one of our lists.

    Oh the humanity.
Never beg a 40 dollar hooker...specially after she's just turned down your mom's credit card!!
