Calzaghe by close decision, like i have said plenty of times Hopkins will make this very rough and dirty fight. And Calzaghe has struggled in rough tough fights before. remember Salem, Bika, Reid, fights. i feel Hopkins will rough up Calzaghe on the inside and make it very tough for Calzaghe and he will offset Calzaghe's rhythm. Hopkins is a master as these kind of fight's and Hopkins is also very tough and dirty fighter so he will give Calzaghe all he can handle, but Calzaghe's work rate will be too much for old Hopkins plus Calzaghe will use angles to good effect to win an ugly UD.

Calzaghe would leave Hopkins retiring on his stool. Simply too young and too good.

Lets not forget that Hopkins had serious issues with Jermaine Taylor and that was a long while back. He hasnt got any better and has only deteriorated. The Winky fight was bland beyond belief.

Hopkins should hang 'em up. Him and Oscar are just annoying...either fight or feck off and retire!!

hmm think hopkins is a little way past it , agree that both fighters in their prime would of made for hell of a battle, if they do meet now it will be a messy fight, not really one that i would like to watch...think eventual outcome would be calzaghe on points just because he is the fresher of the 2

the bare facts are, hopkins has lost 2 of his last 4 fights, he's had 2 fights in the last 2 and a half years, would be 43 by the time they fight but joe still cannot build the courage to go over to america

i am mate Don King seen it with Bruno and now Goldenboy are seeing it with Hatton.... its a money making format UK Vs USA if the UK fighters have a fan base and Joe ticks all the boxes

so there is big money to be made to keep all parties happy... there just playing the games at the minute.
