Default Alex Arthur survives Foster Jr Scare

    http://www.frankwarren.tv/drill/News...s-out-win.html

Looks like Arthur definitely didn't have things his own way. On the one hand there is the sentence about predicting Arthur will be crowned the full WBO champion with Guzman expected to vacate, but if he struggles with Foster Jr, how on earth is he going to cope against world-level fighters? Even the gatekeepers could give him issues.

There's also mention of a possible match-up against Scott Harrison. I think that might be what Warren has in mind for March.

I agree with you both, and I think that if Guzman does vacate next year it'll be a big burden off Frank Warren's back, who can give him fringe contenders for a few fights more until putting him in with a real world class fighter.

The talk of Juan Manuel Marquez is easy enough to reel off, but with JMM looking at much bigger dollars than the change Warren would throw his way for a fight with Arthur, it is almost inevitably empty talk.

Arthur v Harrison would be quite a good one though, did anyone see any clips or anything of Harrison? I believe he was at ringside last night?

He was pissed no doubt. In fact I heard he was snorting dandruff off the shoulder of the guy in front of him thinking it was blow.

Low blow (cough) Bilbo....Harrison's trying to get over all that, and even if he was relaxed on the outside, I bet he was worried about being back in the public eye again.

After hearing this result it really does suggest now Arthur would get KNFO by the elite of the division such as Guzman and Marquez etc

You really need to wait until last night to find that out? I could have told you years ago when Gomez knocked him out.

I said ages ago that he'd never be able to compete at the top.

IMO Johanesson and Mitchell would give him all he can handle.

He was completely out of it in the 11th.....fook knows how he survived that.

Credit to him for showing a lot of heart but he aint beating anybody at world level.

thats a great shame for Arthur, i expected a lot more from him. Hes going to find it very hard on the world level stage.
