I scored the fight for Erik by one point, although it was a close fight , so I didn't think it was a robbery.

That's besides the point though. Just the fact that it was close is an indicator of how completely shot Morales is. A prime Morales, or slightly-past-his-prime Morales, would have beaten the crap of out of a fighter as limited as Diaz.

I think we play down the skill of a guy like diaz.. Hes no great.. But he is definately a strong solid fighter..

I had erik up a bit more maybe 3 rounds or so tbh..

Sad and bummed to read things like this. The harder part about it is that it's only a matter of time before he's really hurt in a fight.
I so agree. What's so worrying is,after the David Diaz fight,he complained to Bob Arum of a ringing noise in hears when he got punched. Arum said he would never promote Morales again. I hope no-one else does either. He needs to give it up.
really, i hope its just the after fight effects.. i hope it doesnt linger coz if it does he's definitely done. but i say he still looked good on his diaz fight considering his resume

    Thats the point !

Regardless of how close teh cards were . Diaz is not fir to lace Eriks boots lets face it . Yet on that night Erik couldnt wait to hear the final bell . He cant use the motivation excuse he used vs Raheem . He cant use the weight excuse he used against Pac . The facts are obvious . Erik aint got it anymore . Ifhe he did Diaz wouldnt last with him .

Erik was alegend and should be remebered for his ferocious prime, hopefully if he does return it will be for a couple of light matches or at the height of it David Diaz.

I don't want to see him in there with Juan.
