Should be fine.. How long ago were you charged??
As long as your honest with them and have a travel plan/itinirary, i.e. hotel, fight, blah blah blah, then it shouldn't be a problem.

When you just rock up to the country with no plans, they can sometimes assume you are going to just stay illegally or are aranging drug deals or whatever..

So have it clearly set out somewhere handy in your carry on bag to readily show them - where your staying, when the fight is, if your visiting relatives, when your leaving, etc... This all proves you are in entering the U.S. for genuine reasons,,,, and if your record is only minor then they shouldn't see you as a threat and you'll be perfectly fine...
They also like to know that you have money to spend during your vist... Meaning, you won't have to be stealing or doing illegal cash in hand work to feed yourself or to afford somewhere to stay.. So declare whatever cash you have, and at LEAST have enough to prove you can survive reasonably for the entire length of your stay..
People can genuinally be sent home for not having any travel money for accomodation and food.... If you actually don't have much travel money, but are staying with people who are going to support you with accomodation and food, make sure you have their details handy and that they are contactable around the time your plane arrives, as their is a good chance Customs will call them to confirm they will be looking after you during your stay..

That's probably about all you'll need...

No probs guys... I worked for a couple of business' around the airport that dealt with customs a lot so I got to know a lot of their rules and what they look for when goods or people come into the country...

Hope you enjoy the fight! My adreneline would be pumping from the moment I bought my freakin tickets for the flight!
