Not sure if the two fights before the main event will be televised but they seem interesting enough to make a comment on. Since they will be for the WBC and WBO titles back to back it could set the stage for an even better match up down the road.
Fernando Montiel vs Martin Castillo (WBO super flyweight championship)
Up until very recently this would've been considered a great match up with Castillo being one of the p4p most well rounded fighters around. They've each seemed to take a step back lately with Montiel getting a gift against Gorrez (who just received a gift in his own right) and Castillo shockingly losing to Noshiro who had 6 pro fights at the time and no major victories since. Before that fight he struggled to beat Munoz whom he defeated easily before and doesn't seem to have regained his superior form. Castillo had surgery to repair the scar tissue that led to the Noshiro stoppage and has unbelievable endurance which should keep him competitive every round of every fight.
Castillo UD.
Cristian Mijares vs Jose Navarro (WBC super flyweight championship)
I wish I knew more about these guys but Mijares was unknown to me before exposing Arce and Navarro seems like a good fighter who never made the jump. Navarro's resume doesn't suggest the ability to step out of the shadows and stun the man who may be the top superfly right now.
Mijares UD.
It's a little disappointing that the undercard isn't more substantial but the main event is a great enough attraction on its own to make people watch. The undercard, if aired at all, will be for the fans only because while there should be plenty of skill on display it seems unlikely there will be any knockouts.
