Default RJJ v Jermain Taylor soon?

BoxingTalk has learned that a showdown between Jermain Taylor and Roy Jones Jr. is brewing, and could take place as soon as June.

I would credit RJJ for taking this fight alot! Jremain looked pretty good v Kelly in both fights so it's a dangerous fight for Jones.

It acually a logical fight, both guys look to establish themselves in the SM dibision so what the hell. I pick Taylor by the way.

This is an interesting fight for me, which i think would turn outto be pretty decent, altho could turn into a bit of a stand off as both fighters arent really busy and throw flashy combinations when they do decide to throw, but id have to go with Roy turning back the clock and taking this one.

It's amazing that while Taylor was undefeated, he'd lost my respect, but in his two defeats, he gained it back (I'm sure this means alot to him). Nobody can really accuse him of taking easy options anymore, but I think this would be his third defeat in a row as Roy outboxes him to a UD.

This is a really interesting fight. Like it's been said, even in defeat, Taylor looked good last time out, and Roy looked pretty good last time out look, albeit against totally shot Tito. Would they do it at 168 or make a catchweight?

Interesting choice for Taylor cause it could be a difficult fight and at the same time how many people will say RJ's old and shot if Taylor wins?

There are some that are ready to discredit the winner after any big fight these days so i think these guys cant worry about that. But this fight does seem a little interesting to me..

This fight makes a lot more sense for Roy than it does Jermain. Roy is looking to show he is still a viable entity. And if he can win against a young power puncher who brings a ton of heart then that would be a stepping stone to the winner of Hopkins/Calzaghe if he really wants it. Jermain just lost and should be looking to retool against someone who is definitely beatable, but he seems to following the path of most resistance. Good for him, but if he fights an old man and gets his 3rd straight loss people may begin to relegate him to gatekeeper status. Taylor should be looking to fight a Miranda or a lesser fighter. Stay away from Jones, Green and if he can get healthy, Lacy.
