Thumbs down Re: Hatton eying Floyd Rematch

Ricky should STFU and fight fighters in his own weight class. He moved up,won no more than 2 rounds, got KTFO and wants a rematch? I think not and if Mayweather takes this, the RING should strip him of his title.1 pointless rematch I can just about take.2,NO WAY. Hatton needs to shut his mouth and focus on Lazcano and Paulie and you can bet your bottom dollar,I'll be rooting for that loud mouth Paulie all the way. I DO NOT want to see Hatton v Floyd 2.It's ridiculous.

Ricky was knocked out by Mayweather and in the second half Mayweather was pulling away. It ended up being not very close at all. It doesnt seem to warrant a rematch at this stage. If Hatton wants a rematch and its to be at 147 then Hatton should be fighting at 147 NOW. Hatton needs to come back and impress but beating Lazcano and then Paulie does NOT warrant a rematch with Mayweather at 147. Im afraid there will be other more deserving opponents for Floyd.

There will be a lot of money in a rematch in the UK and we all know Floyd goes where the money is and not where the critics urge him to go. A rematch, when spelled out in those terms, is more than possible.

Part of me wouldnt mind Ricky getting another crack at Floyd. Its an unpopular view to take and I am not goign to defend it because I dont think it is warranted. Just an urge. But Ricky doesnt really deserve that chance unless he can impress again. Beating Lazcano certainly doesnt mean very much anyway.

I'd have even less interest seeing this rematch then Floyd-DLH II.

It would be great if Paulie beat Hatton, I'm not a Paulie fan but that would clear all this garbage up. Maybe

That being said Hatton probably beats Paulie but you can always hope unlike with ODLH-Forbes

Hatton will never beat Floyd with or without all the excuses. At this moment, Hatton doesn't deserve a rematch, even if he beats Lazcano and Paulie. "If" Hatton stayed at welter, and won a few, I could see a rematch possibly. But he will never beat Floyd. As for Hatton's stock, it shouldn't fall, he wasn't exposed, IMO. We already knew his style. He just lost to the best, and at a weight he can't obviously handle. Good, slick boxers can give Ricky lots of problems, especially southpaws. Hatton is still the best at 140, but will his heart still be in it after losing by KO? We'll find out.

    Everyone should feel this way.

While Floyd-Oscar I may have been disappointing from an action standpoint, it was at the very least a competitive fight.

Floyd dominated Hatton in the first fight. A second fight would be even more lopsided. I'd be surprised to see Hatton make it past the 6th or 7th round.
