Celestino Caballero vs. Lorenzo Parra?

i'M NOT REALLY A FAN OF CAballaro. He beat Ponce because of the height differential. And other than that fight and the Somsak fight,I haven't been impressed by any of his other outings. He'll be tough to beat because of his size and power.

I'll favor Caballero over any 122 lbs. boxers including Vazquez, Rafa, PDL, etc.

Cordaba knocked him down but he went the distance, it was Jose Rojas that stopped him in 3. I thought his wins over Valbuena & Ortega were very solid victories. But I agree prime Vasquez & Marquez maybe even at this stage would take him out!

Heard something about this but I can't any real confirmation.

It is listed as being set on boxrec, for whatever that's worth as boxrec has obviously jumped the gun before. Listed as being late next month

Would be a big jump in weight for Parra. I know he had problems making 112 but you would think the most he would jump would be to maybe 118. Instead he goes to 122 and fights a gigantic 122 pounder?

This might not come off though, a bit too early to tell.

Caballero is severely underrated. Cab by decision.

Really dissapointed by Parra's decision making, I know he was having a hell of a time making 112 but to go all the way up to 122, obviously I wasn't in his training camp but that sounds like a lazy problem really, at least he could have made 118. I mean he's what like 5'4, 5'3?

PAC made that 112 to 122 jump in 1999 after he lost his 112 title on the scale... PAC then KO'ed his first 122 lbs. opponent, just an average fighter and definitely not a Caballero...
