    Default Routine for beginner help

I need some help coming up with a good routine to get me into boxing shape... i have no boxing background i did some MMA fights for about 6 months and i have 6 mounths of muai thui witch isnt much and about 4 years of wrestling and ju jitsu... i dont have great speed on the combo punching without losing my form, and id like to fix that.
but i want to get into boxing, its a great sport and art.

the equipment i have at my disposial is....
speedbag, heavy bag, 4oz gloves, 16oz gloves, wraps, 5,15,25,35,40lb dumbbells, bench press, squat rack, olimpic bar, curl bar, and full set of olimpic weights.

here is what i have been doing the last month...
should i scrap it or modify it or is it fine??

my goal is to be i faster stronger fighter, and maybe someday compete.

You definately need to be upping the cardio and reducing the weights. Go for a nice 30 minute run at least 3 days a week. And for your footwork, spend a few rounds on the jumprope.

Those 'jab-cross-jabs' are really a bitch, they will wear your shoulders out and get you out of breath in a hurry.

Yea, that is pricy for a month, atleast where I come from. $120.

Our club is only $30 a month or $40 if you're an adult. I don't even have to pay myself any more as my coach made it free cuz i draw a lot of people my age to it.

Sorry if I came off as preachy on the drinkin' deal. You're an adult and ya do what you want. I just see a lot of people even at my club who keep saying they want to get in great shape, but never seem to get past the "if it weren't for the booze, or the dubies, or cigarettes."

People often want it all, without the sacrifice, and this sport is about sacrifice. I do wish you luck with your conditioning and training and learning boxing. And hope you find a way to get into a club.

    Peace bro.
