For some reason I just can't make myself care about this fight. Maybe that will change as we get closer to the bout, but aside from Pac moving up in weight I just don't find it all that compelling.
How about the idea of PAC getting "3 title belts in 3 weight divisions in 1 year"?
This fight will be the 2nd title belt for PAC this year and if he will be successful on this one, he'll be gunning for the 3rd belt at 140 next at the end of the year... Hatton be ready...
Or after PAC gets Diaz' WBC lightweight belt then he can have a unification fight with Nate Campbell (holder of WBA, IBF & WBO lightweight belts) for all 4 lightweight belts...

I am curious to see Pacman do an interview, he seemed kind of punched out after the JMM fight, I wonder if he's showing any slurring or slow speech. He was playing chess so unless he was jumping pawns like checkers or was getting whooped, that is a good sign.
That would appeal to me. I think my problem is that I don't rate Diaz very highly, relatively speaking, so the fact that Pac is climbing to a new weight-class doesn't impress me like it should. I'd love to see him fight the Casamayor/Campbell winner, or even Juan Diaz.
