I box very agresively, going backwards.
I then box fairly conservatively going forwards.
Strange isn't it?

I just find the ability to lead with a hook or uppercut can catch and opponent unaware and it can change your pattern just enough to make you seem unpredictable.
Not really,its instinct.
When someones pushing you backwards your having a fight or flight reaction, and opting for fight to beat the guy off you.
Coming forward you can maintain distance, and dictate the action,so you can afford to be intellectual in picking a guy apart
