    Question J.Calzaghe Vs R.Jones

Hi their boxing fans.I was wondering when is the Calzaghe Vs Jones fight due and were?I do understand that its during the winter(november, december)time but there has been no exact date yet!Apparentley it'll be Calzaghes last fight and im hoping to grab a ticket if the fight is made over here in the U.k which im sure it will.

Any views on the bout in mind?I would appreciate it.

Calzaghe by close UD/SD. It'll be a lot closer than most people think, just because RJJ has the style and speed to give Calzaghe trouble and because Calzaghe doesn't have the power to trouble RJJ. As long as Roy doesn't spend half the fight laying on the ropes I think he'll do well. Maybe (probably) not well enough to win, but he'll look good in losing..

Nice one friend.I would of loved to have seen Calzaghe fight Pavlik instead. What a last fight that would have been to leave a print on his legacy wheather he loses or not.I mean thats the fight us Brits and the rest of the world want to see.It would be mouth watering to say the least, but we'll just have to wait for the Roy Jones fight instead.I like Jones style,i've always have.It should be a good fight nevertheless!

Does any one now when and were it'll be held?

I'm assuming since JC has the drawing power now it will be in Cardiff.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

I think Roy will KO Calzaghe if the fight happens in Wales.

One of the greatest fighters ever turns back the clock - washed up, in hostile territory, takes out the No.1 Supermiddle/Light-heavyweight, undefeated top 3 pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

It's a great story. I can see it.

The way Calzaghe is talking recently it sounds like some Vegas casino has offered a vast amount of cash to stage it. Maybe HBO are going to take a flyer on a PPV spectacular too. Jones-Trinidad made a lot of money so it's possible.

I would love to see it being big Roy Jones Jr fan i think Jones deserves to go out on top like he rightfully should of done after Ruiz fight. Jones has a good right hand lead and i can see him leaping in with that punch and catching Calzaghe by surprise and off balance and knocking him down. And Jones does still have enough power to turn a fight around like he did against Hanshaw when he landed that beautiful 3 punch combo, the only thing im worried about is Jones lay's on the ropes too much and i can see Calzaghe getting a BS stoppage while Jones is on the ropes.
