just curious to know what is the worst injury yall have had from (amateur) boxing. For me it's just a little blood in the nose

Well I broke my hand in 3 places. My freind kickboxes and he broke his shin.
my nose is the only thing that hurts and stays hurt for a long time.(the one place i hate to get hit)
dont mind gettin hit any where else
hands are nasty places to get injured.
i've broken the knukle of my midle finger (right hand)
and damn that injury took a hell of a long time to heal
cuz every time it feld good again and i started to put more power in my punches i F'ed it up again.
so i had to keep it real low for a long time, but now it feels better than b4.
a broken nose can be nasty to, but it only improved my skills
cuz i feel more alert in some strange way.
To help prevent nose injuries, I find this help...
When you're sitting there watching tv, play with your nose. It sounds weird, but just move it side to side, push it down etc... it will get more flexible oddly enough. I don't even feel it when I get hit in the nose... my eyes dont water or anything.
sounds strange but i guess i will give it a go,
Ya broken hands arnt fun.....my dad made me take a tennis ball and try and squeeze it as hard as I could....so I wouldnt lose my hand strength
i threw out my right arm to the point where i couldnt lift the arm for a month... that was AGES ago though. recently ive had soem bloody noses but thats nothin to me because ive got some membrane problem in my nose and i get em real easy.
That must be a pain. Ya breaking a hand was pianful and hard to do stuff. But a full arm being thrown out, I cant imagine how annoying and hard it must have been to do stuff
I'm going to try that. About how long will it take for my nose to become more flexible?Originally Posted by YounGun
Well to me it sounds good if, you get hit there and your eyes dont water thats good for a fight, because if your eyes water up it effects your accuracy when punching
