What do you guys think of Froch-Pascal?

I know both guys have more detractors then supporters, but I like Pascal. He is a bit frustrating at times, but he's a fun guy to watch and to be honest, his whole persona is great. I think it was Christian Cruz he fought when he entered on a motorcycle, that was cool. I haven't seen him in a very long time though, would have to brush up before I pick a winner in that one. Both guys are likely to be exposed at the top level but against each other it's not a bad matchup.

Similarly to yourself I'd have to have a good look at Pascal's recent form before I'd call it.
Haven't seen anything from him in a bit, but saw some of his earlier work.

Personally I don't think Lacy looked that good before Calzaghe.

I too would rather see Taylor-Froch. Taylor is still new to the division and Froch would be able to finally have a good answer to the question "who have you fought?"
Well Lacy's defense has always been shit, but his offense I thought was actually pretty good. I love how he mixes it up to the head and body. I haven't seen him fight since that Tsypko guy, tho.
    Oops

I would be happy with Pascal if Taylor chooses Lacy. Pascal has proved he is decent and would be a good test for Froch. Both hungry and undefeated, lets hope Pascal is up for it.

Does anybody actually know when the confirmation of this fight is going to be ? I guess if Lacy wins tonight in style he will offer taylor out im guessing? I would prefer Taylor-Froch but Pascal-Froch will do me.

Add that to the fact that the injury he suffered as practically ended his career.

Taylor is a guy who I've followed for a long time now, I'm just hoping he can finally step it up, I think the last Pavlik Fight would have been a good morlae booster.
Good to see someone else thinks like me...
For a second there I thought people would see Froch as the winner of all this.

Taylor in my opinion is one of the most adaptave boxers in the ring. I really think Taylor - Froch would be a one sided whooping. I see him beat Lacy too. I think Taylor could be the next big thing at 168 belt wise. Thats if Pavlik stays at 160.

    Only somewhat related:

Just noticed on Boxrec that Inkin fought yesterday (6 round UD against a 6-1 fighter).

What's up with that, and what's up with Inkin in general? Where does he fit in this picture - he was supposed to fight Froch first after all.

    Royal, is that you??

I really like Lacy but I think he would just get beaten up by the likes of Taylor now. Lacy got shellshocked against Calzaghe and then the injury. He's barely got into a groove since the Calzaghe fight.

I dont think he can perform at the top level anymore.
