    Default Cotto/Margirito Undercard

Some body hype the under card up for me.(I'm looking at you Cutmemick) I dont really recognize these fighters, and need something to tell my casual boxing fan friends.

Giovanni Segura (19-0-1, 15 KOs) vs. Cesar Canchila (26-1, 21 KOs)

Michael Alvarado (21-0, 14 KOs) vs. Cesar Bazan (48-10-1, 31 KOs)

Bernabe Concepcion (25-1-1, 14 KOs) vs. Adam Carrera (19-3, 8 KOs)

Concepcion is the only really decent name man...otherwise its fairly unrecognisable.

Thats not to say it won't be very fun though!

Bazan is a former champ at Lightweight (the same time as Shane Mosley!) so the guy he's fighting is obviously someone being groomed well.

Yeah, it didn't go very well for Bazan.

Bazan also boxed Paul McCloskey here in Ireland earlier this year.
He lost all ten rounds to Paul.

Segura is one of the hidden gems of the little guys, he has tremendous power and accuracy, he fought Reyes which was supposed to be an eliminator, but the WBA made a BS move to make it a non-eliminator day before the fight, he is very well matched here in my opinion and in a fight that he could get knocked out in. If nothing else a small guy version of Pavlik-Miranda.

If anything this will be the reason I don't get this fight. It's a great main event but what else can we look forward too. A bunch of guy's hardly anyone knows maybe even seen once or twice. Where are those good ol days when we seen the Holyfield vs Tyson undercards, Moorer vs Botha,Chavez vs Lacourisiere not great fight but always good to watch a legend at work. Christy Martin knocking some chick sensless, and Butterbean doing the same. Now those were great undercard's. Now all we have is washed-up old veteran's or fighter's fighting their first time in America who nobody know's.I am not bashing any country outside of the U.S. but you wanna know why people don't watch boxing it's because of this. $50.00 to watch two great fighter's and 2,3 or even 4 fight's of sleeping.

    Default good pictures

    Those are really good pictures.

For me Cotto is the great favourite. I'm pretty sure this fight is going to end by KO. Margarito is a warrior but I think Cotto is in the best shape of his life.

    Good luck with your bets!!!

Funny you ask cause just the other day a good friend of mine asked me the same thing via PM, good thing I kept a copy of the PM...

For starters I thought the Kid Diamond fight was on the TV but according to sources Kid is fighting a weak opponent and HBO does not wish to waste time with it... Just kidding Silverback & Sal..

    lance on the card....
You will see the hotest Light Fly prospect around Giovani Segura who was suppose to be fighting Asloum but Asloum got injured. Giovani is very raw with lots of power he defense isn't the best which is why he's exciting expect fireworks in this fight if he can take Canchilas punches I think Segura will get the KO. His opponent though slightly better skilled also carries raw power so I expect nothing less then FIREWORKS in this fight.
One things for sure they don't like eachother and they both wanna knock eachother the fuck out.

Also on the card will be Light Welter Mike Alvarado I'm not fully sold on the guy just yet. I think he does a lot of things right but there's just something about him that doesn't appeal to me as a fan. I gotta give him credit for his last win over Rosales as I had picked Rosales in that fight in a battle of the prospect/winner moves on to better things. Has he ever I mean he's on the undercard of Cotto-Tony. He's fighting former champ Bazan who was a good boxer yrs. ago but is now past his best. Bazans tough as nails and will not step back so I think it will be good while it lasts. If Mike can stop Bazan it would be big for him as step up fight.

Then you got the Filipino sensation Bernabe Concepcion getting some exposure on a big PPV card so look for his lighting fast hands and you will be pleased here but don't blink or you might miss it. Bernabes considered to be one of the hottest prospects coming out of the P.I.
so this is a fight to showcase him...

All in all I think it's a good card and should have some very entertaining fights. Pull up a chair get some apetizers ready cause it's one for the history books.
