I was watching an old Pernell Whitaker fight, and see him shooting a few hoops. Then the HBO team brought up how Pernell Whitaker's team, were gonna face Roy Jones team at basketball or something ? Does anyone know anything about this ? and if so who won ?

Pernell Whitaker retired in 2001, not to mention he said an OLD Whitaker fight :P... So i doubt its recently

It was during Pernell Whitaker vs Jake Rodriguez in 1995, and the HBO team mentioned it was going to happen in Pensacola Florida, sometime in December of the same year.
