It's weird how we become like our parents, but I never expected this. Years ago when I was in high school we were at one of my brother's basketball games when he pointed out a dark-skinned cheerleader and said to me (paraphrasing), "You see that? I would have had that back in my day." I was about 14 so my father was about 34, not old by any means, but of course, like any child I thought that was completely gross.
