This is an interesting topic!
Do you think it's really best to stay at 66 if you're so close (i'm thinking kgs right?) since it's such a small amount to loose?
I mean i think it's good to be fairly close to your weight range and being 0.5 to 1 kg out is pretty much nothing right?
I just think if you're too lean for too long your body doesn't always have the reserves it needs to repair.
I think it's good to feel light and lean sometimes and well fed at other times - maybe in sync with your training intensity?
What's your opinion Leggy? Do you feel a little drained when you try to stay at 66 for more than a week?
Anyone else felt that before or am I just looking for an excuse to eat!
well i eat loads! so i just have to cut down on eating to be honest but its a bit worrying
leggy, if you walk around comfortably at .5 to 1 kg over your fighting weight (like 1 or 2 lbs) then you are fortunate and have little to worry about.
Unless I am misunderstanding it?
do you think it is okay to drop a kilo quite quickly before a fight ?
Is very easy in my opinion. Just getting rid of salt alone could do it. Maybe add a touch more protein in place of carbs and a bit of a run.
With all the weight adjusting i've been doing lately, 1 kilo is easy as pie. Now when you get into 2,3, 4 and 5 kilos...then things start getting intense. Seriously...most fighters walk around a lot heavier then their fighting weight. You are real close to it and lucky to be, IMO.
0.5-1kg?
Just get yourself on the toliet with something to read and don't come out for a while!...
