Default I've been watching David Haye and,

I really think he has potential in the HW division that I didn't before. I had watched a few of his fights before, and now I've watched more of them, and I can't get over how athletic he is, I mean Chad Dawson is as tall as him and faster, but David Haye is so much bigger than Dawson in build, and he has great coordination which allows him to leap in and out similar to how Hopkins, Jones, and Mayweather do it. The one problem that I have a huge concern with for him is that he seems in love with his power. I think he relies on it the same way Tyson does, and the problem with that is he doesn't always focus on his boxing, in his last fight, he could have won it without being hit solidly, but he likes to trade shots or gets too confident in there. IMO he needs to work on his movement and focus on being a boxer, not a puncher, not even a boxer-puncher. WHen he is in there with Wladimir Klitschko he needs to look to land that right hand over the jab and get the hell away for Wlad ever other moment of the fight, same with against Vitali, but he needs to stay sharp for 12 rounds and limit the clean punches Vitali would land. He has the speed and reflexes to do it, but they are both very good boxers who can land clean, and I don't see him beating them, but I am more excited for their fights next year than I once was, and I think whichever brother he fights will be one of the most intriguing fights that can be made in '09.

He seems to pride himself on excitement. I can't fault him for it. It's what the fans want.

He is entertaining, I will give him that much but I have a very funny feeling that he is going to get knocked out as a heavy weight, I hope I am wrong but that is the way the sport is but I hope he does well and I hope he beats the Klitorisis, I don't watch heavy weight fights all that much but Haye and the Mexican Oreola have sparked some interest

The true test of david haye will come when an arreola type catches him flush on the chin and how well he is able to take a heavyweight punch.

No point in david spending the next 2-3 years fighting a few feather punchers before sticking himself in with one of the klitschkos.

Once haye takes a rahman or arreola type onslaught and passes with flying colours i`ll begin to take the man seriously.

    until then i just cant!
    one dangerous horrible bloke

He needs to box, I see him beating Arreola easily if he uses movement and boxing skills. I think Arreola is the biggest joke in the heavyweight division.

I give Haye a lot of credit coming up to heavyweight, unless cruiserweight was just getting too hard to make, because there were still several relatively big money fights left for him at 200, especially in England.

Agreed. The funny thing is Arreola has a lot of talent. Good ring smarts. But he is the typical American heavyweight: lazy. The guy could empty out half the division if he bothered to show up below 240lbs. As it stands we have to watch his tits flop around when he raises his hands in victory.
    Oops
