    Which ones do you like,I ask because If currently digging on our copy of With Fire And Sword that just showed up today

    Yeah period pieces based on historic events,With Fire And Sword is based on the war between the Cossacks and the Hussar Knights for instance

    I always liked Spartacus with Kirk Douglas. Braveheart ws good, although not too historically accurate. Shogun was good.

    Speaking of History, if you like historical documentaries, there is a guy on Youtube who stickpiles them. These are documentaries, not historical movies. Most of them are very good. Here is the link to his list of videos.

    The Longest Day...although the D-Day landing scene in Saving Private Ryan seems to me to be more realistic.
