Default Don Turner should be in the Hall of Fame

This guy is one of the best trainers I've ever seen. I've known him for over thirty years. He can't count the world champions he's been with. "Too many to even begin to try" he tells me. He's worked with everyone from Ray Robinson to Evander Holyfield. He was the trainer in Larry Holmes corner for most of the fights in his successful comeback and single handedly devised the fight plan to for Holyfield to destroy Tyson which revised the Evander's career and earned the Real Deal countless millions. Mr. Turner is semi retired in North Carolina and acts as a "talent Scout for some of the best managers in the game. Don turner should be in the IBHOF immediately but will remain an oputcast because of his strong opinionated personality. Shame shame.

How is he not in it, yet Larry Merchant is... someone needs to shoot themself... Are you sure he is not in it? I don't pay much attention to that sort of thing.

I know for sure he is not in the IBHOF and it is a CRIME to say the least. Don is not a popular fellow with most writer's because of his outgoing nature and that should have nothing to do with his credentialsto be enshrined. He is one of the best boxing guy's that ever lived. PERIOD.

You are absolutely right he should be in the Boxing Hall Of Fame… His introduction is long overdue. But like you said people don’t like when you speak the truth… such as Don Turner
