I noticed a couple of people had him as one to watch over the next couple of years, I used to live in Dagenham where he's from but left for Oz about 4 years ago. I've heard very little of him since and how he's doing.

Is he going to become anything? Behind schedule? Overrated? typical Frank Warren fighter?

Agreed, you can take those shots off Carl Johannson, you can't be taking them off Humberto Soto or Jorge Linares. In fact any of the top 10 at 130.

Saw him on the Haye undercard against Johannson, showed he had heart and can turn a fight round but his defence needs a lot of work if he is to be anything above euro level, I wish him well as he is one of our own.

He is a very talented fighter and has improved his defence, it was only one round against Johansson he was getting hit a lot. He has the potential to be world class.

I think he gets blown away at tthe moment at the very top.Imo he will be just a good domestic fighter around the european scene.

Bif has hit the nail on the head, he likes a tearup too much and hasnt got the skills or power to make it at the very top, Johannasen gaver him hell and he has proved he is not even european level.

Mitchell has great potential to be carefully matched for years to come.
It's not like he's terrible, he's got a decent skill set. The division he's in is far to deep of a pool for him to swim in.
