You just said Floyd faced an old ODLH, add to that a weight-drained aaaaaand old ODLH and would you still admire Pac for that win?

Weight is not an issue for Floyd so why should you concern yourself with this. Manny started fighting pro at about 99 pounds soaking wet and wearing boots

Pac was 106 pounds when he was a teenager so as Floyd.

Weight should never be an issue for someone who runs

Someone who "runs", and shows superb defense, footwork, speed in his punches, accuracy, stamina, etc. So would you suggest him to stand toe-to-toe in his fights? It might make fans happy but it is not necessarily a smart fight.
Oscar came down, he is the one who suggested that they fight at that weight. No one put a gun to ODLH's head. He thought Manny was easy pickins'

Pac and Floyd were both teenagers yes but Manny was already a pro while Floyd was still getting beat up as an amateur. Floyd don't have the balls to stand toe to toe with any one and that is what makes him a boring fighter. Manny will trade and has heart. Floyd is a boring runner. The end.

This is the main thought of a mainstream boxing fanatic who is not a fan of boxing but a fan of one fighter.

Realize that boxing consists of a lot of different styles, not everyone has punching power, or one punch KO power, and some fighters have to fight the best fight that they can with their given style just as their opponent is trying to fight their very best fight in their given style. To give up your advantages in a fight just to please the fans is stupid. And you can bet the opponent wouldn't do the same. Pacquiao fights the way he does not because he has heart or is a warrior but because its the most advantageous way for him to fight, Mayweather does the same. To believe anything different is ignorant.

What is with the personal attacks?

We are still talking boxing here regardless of your input above. Either stick to boxing or take it to the let's get it on and call me out over there. I don't care whether you agree or disagree but calling me names sort of makes me feel I have a point.

Manny has been given EVERY concession over the past few years. Shit, why don't we let him win the heavyweight belts at 145? Make him new belts in diamonds and every precious stone?

Still, the question lingers. Can he beat Floyd at 147 (in the near future)? Not a chance.
Manny is the king right, he is the head lion, why shouldn't he get the lion's share?

Floyd was only getting the Lion's share when he was king but he gave up that privilege when he went into hiding. Floyd has been campaigning as a welter weight for nearly 5 years, tell me/us when was the last time Floyd faced a real welter weight?

    ooooppss.
Hiding? lol, is there a rule that says you can't take a break from the sport? At least he isn't creating his own belts and demanding catch weights to everyone. He fought oscar at 154 (that's super ww or junior middleweight in case you didn't know), and didn't demand that Oscar weight-drain himself so that he could look good. Floyd fights real boxing matches, pacquiao wins popularity contests. Enough said.

LOL, ya Pacquiao wins popularity contests because he sends people to the canvas! To be so popular Mayweather has the most consistently boring fights i've ever seen. In case you've forgotten Mayweather beat ODLH by split desicion so stop acting like he dominated him when he scraped by. On the other hand, Pacquiao completly dominated Oscar (who lost 7 pounds) until OSCAR quit! You make such a big deal of Oscar having to lose 7 pounds but you make no mention of Marquez having to gain 17 pounds to fight mayweather! Oh wait Hatton also had to come up 7 pounds to fight Floyd! Don't act like Pacquiao always gets his way and Mayweather doesn't. You get your way when you've paid your dues. Oscar got the benefits over Mayweather because Oscar was the bigger draw, and thats the way it always is, the bigger draw usually gets what he wants!
