Default Arum: Pacquiao vs Margarito may be in Summer

Pacquiao vs Margarito Clash is Possible, Says Arum - Boxing News

He says possible in the summer and wants it at Giants Stadium in New Jersey. He also says he knows there is a big Flip community on the east coast and wants to milk their money.

I don't want to see Margarito in the ring anymore but if he gets granted so then I would like to see this fight. It has to be explosive but I hope Pac knocks him into retirement. Margarito doesn't deserve to get paid in boxing. So if he is going to be able to then I hope he takes on competition such as Pac and Pac gives his all time best performance. I used to like Margarito a lot and I once thought he was the best welterweight. Heck, I won $100 off of the Cotto fight. But now I just can't stand the guy. There are certain boxers you don't like because how they box or who they box(cherrypicking) but with Margarito I just can't stand him anymore no matter what. I love the sport of boxing and its disgusting what he did and it should never be tolerated in anyway. I'll be hoping Pac KOs Margarito after oh lets say 5 or 6 knockdowns.

I really have no idea if Marga found guilty or not?, just wonderin if found guilty why he only given a year suspension should be for life i guess.

Kool! This is a good fight that makes sense because 2 cheaters should only be able fight each other

Let's have some fun with headlines for this fight :

    "Fight Needles With Bricks"
    "2 Cheaters, A Brick and a Needle"
"Sticks and Stones May Break My Bones...But Bricks and Gear are Fair Game!"

Because Margarito deserves to fight the P4P best after getting the stuffing knocked out of him the last time he was in the ring well over a year ago? Yeah, that makes sense Arum.

All jokes aside this fight might be a lil interesting. Margarito is a real big welterweight and Pac man is a real small one. I think Pac man might be pushing his luck a lil bit if he stays in the welterweight division for more than a few stints. At what point do we start weighing on on the size differences between him and a Margarito or a Paul Williams??

I think his performance against a strong welterweight who is looking to go to 154 in Cotto proves he can hang with the big boys.

Very good point... The Cotto Pac fight was great because they were both with Arum and could just get thrown in together.. No fuss, just a great fight for the fans, and a great fight for the fighters...

If that's how it works, I hope that (()) Arum ends up taking over boxing and promoting everyone himself... Then we'll get all the fights we want, that make sense..

This is a mismatch and Marga-Cheato doesn't deserve to be in the same ring as Manny, not till he has shown he can do it with out bricks in his gloves. The Shane Mosley beating was embrassing and if thats what he is like without bricks then lets hope the ref stops it early because he'll lose and lose badly. Remember he had a life and death struggle with Cotto and that was when he was loaded with gloves and we have seen what Manny did to Cotto. I know boxing isn't linear and simple like that (Frazier beat Ali, Foreman destroys Frazier. So everyone thought Foreman would destroy Ali right ?) but Marga-Cheato doesn't deserve the big payday, not till he has proven himself and he can do that by fighting Cotto again or Mosley again or Williams again, he beats one of them, then he can talk about Manny.
