Yes I said 700-800k good numbers but nothing more than expected now, Pac is a superstar and would achieve them numbers fighting almost anyone these days.
Great number compared with the majority of PPV's over the past 10 years not involving Oscar/Tyson.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
700k is a good number considering it's mostly Pacquiao fans buying the PPV, a not so good undercard, and not much fight promotion.
Good news, boxing is still alive and well.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
I wouldn't say overshadowed. Yes Floyd does great PPV. But you have to take into account Floyd is American, he's been mixing it with HBO for over 10 years.
Pac is a foreigner. He's doing 850,000 and 700,000 with fellow foreigners. Those are numbers that far surpass any top American PPV fighter (other than those mentioned) in the last ten years or so.
Pac deserves great credit for that
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
it is quite impressive...because the only draw in this fight is PACQUIAO...
The thing is May-Mosley will do 1.5, maybe 2 and then there will be even bigger roadblocks towards ever getting a super fight. Well, assuming Mayweather wins. Which I assume he will.
I think those numbers are good considering that it was pretty much all Pac. No juicy undercard and a predictable opponent for Pac.
