But at this stage the hatred of the French is gone beyond irrational;

a) Ireland were not in the lead, had Henry not "scored" Ireland would still not have won.
b) I defy any Irish player to honestly say they wouldn't have done precisely the same thing for World cup qualification.
c) Diego Maradonna is revered internationally for a similar feat.

I would support ANYONE over that cheating bastard Henry. Its true ireland werent qualified before the handball but neither were the french! Truth be told, ireland shoulda had the game wrapped up beforehand only for Duff to miss when through v the keeper. But it aint gonna stop my disgust at them cheating bastards.
