    Good thread:

    - Someone mentioned Wlad approaching Louis' record of title defences. Don't forget that Joe was THE heavyweight champion of the world and made 25 defences. Wlad is not undisputed and has therefore made no defences of THE world heavyweight championship.

    - Marciano's 49-0 will go, as someone will just fight 50 tomato cans and then win a lightly regarded 'world' title

    - Homocide Hank holding 3 titles at the same time may be bettered ..... but not when you think that he would be holding about 6 titles simultaneously at todays weight divisions!

    - I would think that the Old Mongoose's KO record will stay unbeaten forever!!! Also, I can't see anybody beating Chavez/Haugen crowd record of 120,000 (unless a certain someone has his last fight in the Phillippines)

Valuev nearly did it by that method.

Only twins to ever be world boxing title holders, Khaosai and Kaokor Galaxy. A bit of a novelty boxing record but I'm guessing it would be quite hard to match.

    arcanum26,

wrong answer. the thai twins might have been the first twins to win titles but not the only ones. raul garcia of mexico was minimumweight champion for about two years until he got dethroned by joyi of south africa last year.

since then, his twin brother, ramon garcia hirales is the current WBO jr. flyweight champ.

Since were on the brothers topic...

JMM & Rafa brothers being on the Rings Top 10 P4P simotaneously.
Orlando & Gaby brothers to hold a title at the same time in the same division.

Im pretty sure SRR lost to Jake LaMotta after about 40 something fights.

    Anyway as for the thread.

Phillip Holiday vs Ivan Robinson = Most punches thrown and landed in any fight using Compubox, im not sure of the exact stats but its crazy.
Starting after LaMotta, he went 88-0-2, then lost.

Most Earlobes bitten: 1 - Mike Tyson.

There's an outside chance of a tie. But broken, I don't see it.

i didn't really want to start a thread about a crazy stat i read about so i'll post it in here. naoya inoue has currently scored more ten-eight rounds (forty two) than nine-ten rounds (forty)

This one may be broken someday, but Wilfredo Gomez had 32 consecutive knockout victories, including world championship fights.

Mindboggling how this is almost literally once a week.
