Heard rumours, can't remember where (twitter probably) that the fight is '90% certain' to take place in May 2011.

Does anyone actually want to see this fight? Especially after that shocking bout with Sergio Mora?

Good style clash. Don't know what it the hell he was thinking taking on nightmare "style" , cough...of Mora. Mosley Fancies himself a slugger now and wouldn't have to look for Manny who can be machismo'd into some give and take. Mosley campaigned bigger,150+ in past but at age with Pacs speed that would be negative. Have a sneaking suspicion Mosley comes out of this looking like William Joppy after Hopkins...a lumed up disfigured gargoyle after 12 rounds. With connections,names and HBO can DEF see it happening.

Hoping it is just a smoke screen for Pac/JMM. Even though I'd have Pac to stop JMM, I would rather see a third 'fight' between the pair than a one sided beat down against an over the hill Mosley.

i guess pacquiao vs. mosley would be a good matchup. i don't care how old mosley is, he's still dangerous, unless he has to fight at a catchweight, which will probably be the case.

mosley has an outstanding chin and it would surprise me if pacquiao can knock him out but you never know. pacquiao should be favorite because of his youth and elusiveness but i will never count out mosley because he's a great warrior.

Interesting fight.

Shane was clean during the Mayweather fight, he looked less ripped, less explosive, less durable.

Who knows how he will look against Pac, IMO.

Mosley does not ever get stopped and as good as Pac is, if he did stop Mosley then Shane must retire in an instant.

I see Margarito 2, the Pacman version. Mosley beaten to a pulp as he's too slow to dodge. Shane is nothing more than a name now, he poses no threat to any top class fighter and he's getting worse. Would be a shame to see him smashed up. He needs to be taking some glory fights to say goodbye. But winnable ones.

The only person besides Floyd giving Pac a test is Berto, just on handspeed.. Pacs defense is his offense and Berto has a slifgt edge in speed and uppercuts.. Its a slim chance for Berto but other than That its all Pac 140-147 besides those 2

As a high risk and low reward option as Sugar Shane Mosely is, as suggested by 'Mick here, and agreeably so (IMHO)... at least Mosely is man enough to seek his fortune, find his place in the books, and pad the wallet a bit along the way! This is a tad easier to comprehend for fans, in contrast to baffling moves by the self proclaimed, "Number One", choosing instead to potentially face jail time than man-up to a "bit-of-a-tougher" challenge.

Having said those, this stll is, IMO, not a good match... it will leave a bad taste in the mouth for fans in so many dimensions, and could hurt more if a scenario undeniably looming large, would repeat a "two-round and done" performance by Mosely!

Now if Mosely comes out victorious... a different ball of wax then ... By and large, the sport of boxing benefits from this, just from the positive write-ups alone that will spawn off of this will provide ten-fold on media coverage!

Pac would beat the dog shit out of mosley. Black mexican asian or otherwise. And the lower the weight he suckers mosely to taking off, the more days he'll probably spend in the hospital after. Berto or tim bradley i see putting up a much better fight. As for marquez i'm not even sure he'll be kats let alone either of them standing a chance of beating pac.
