Anyone see Edgar vs. Maynard?

Unbelievable fight. Even a boxing fan could appreciate that. Love watching Frankie Edgar fight. His footwork and boxing is at an elevated level for an MMA fighter. Maynard gave him all he could handle though. Great fight.

I was pretty suprised that Gray didn't have enough gas in the tank to put more pressure. Needless to say I had it a draw as well with Gray getting 10-8 for the 1st and 10-9 in the 3rd. I think we are seeing another evolution of MMA with Frankie's movement and striking.

How did you guys score it?

I had Edgar a 48-46 winner. I gave Gray a 10-8 for the 1st but gave Edgar the last 4. I thought Edgar won the 1st 4 mins of the 3rd round with getting in and out and landing clean shots. The takedown in the last minute wasn't enough to give him the round IMO. The 5th was very close though.

I had it 4-1 for Edgar, with the first being a 10-8 as well. But it was close enough that the split draw didn't upset me.

Back when I saw him fight Maynard first I thought he'd move to the WEC and dominate there, but when I saw him against Sherk I was sooo impressed.

I had it 47-47 Grey had the first round by 10-8 and he got the third too but the rest go to Edgar. Great fight very exciting couldn't believe he made it out of the first round he looked so wobbly throughout that whole round.

You got a link for this? Last I read Dana had said that Pettis would have to wait b/c Gray and Frankie were going to rematch.

At the post fight press conference, Dana's guy said no rematch, Pettis is next. Then in an interview with Ariel Helwani later that night Dana said he'd changed his mind again, the tie warrants an immediate rematch. But I read yesterday that Edgar's going to be out for like six months with a fucked up nose, so maybe they'll coach TUF and fight in July.
