Default UFC 136 “Edgar vs. Maynard 3”

Looking to forward to this weekends card, not often do we get two titles on line in the same show.
    Full card:
    Matchups:
    UFC Lightweight Championship
Gray Maynard (No. 3 LW) vs. Frankie Edgar (No. 1 LW, No. 4 PFP)

    UFC Featherweight Championship
Jose Aldo (No. 1 FW, No. 3 PFP) vs. Kenny Florian (No. 4 FW)

    Chael Sonnen vs. Brian Stann
    Melvin Guillard vs. Joe Lauzon
    Nam Phan vs. Leonard Garcia
    Jeremy Stephens vs. Anthony Pettis
    Demian Maia vs. Jorge Santiago
    Stipe Miocic vs. Joey Beltran
    Steve Cantwell vs. Mike Massenzio
    Aaron Simpson vs. Eric Schafer
    Tiequan Zhang vs. Darren Elkins

For the main event im going with Edgar SD in another very entertaining fight, really enjoyed the 2nd fight between the two, hope this lives up it !

As much as I rate Kenny, and he is coming down in weight, I just feel Aldo will have a little too much for him, and will take UD or late TKO

Would love Stann to put a beat down on Sonnen, and picking him to KO him in the 1st, he needs to keep it standing tho, but thats my pick!
Guillard for the next bout, but he needs to watch out for Joe's BJJ, he has some sick submissions.
Garcia V Phan has fight of the night written all over it, Garcia is a true warrior with never say die come forward attitude. Garcia for me by SD
Pettis needs to bring it and show his skills after losing to Clay last time out, and im picking him for a late KO or UD.

    Edgar UD
    Aldo TKO
Sonnen UD - one sided beat down!
    Guillard KO
    Phan UD
Looking foward to Stephens coming back from some time out but i see Pettis winning UD.
    Mia UD
    Beltran TKO
    Massenzio Sub
    Simpson UD
    Elkins UD

Great fight card one of the best on paper all year no doubt might be tough picking FOTN.
    Go Edgar and Sonnen!

He did look quiet good against Nunes at the weight so i think he will make it even better this time but Aldo is a monster!

It is really hard to pick between Edgar and Maynard but I think Frankie will make better adjustments in the fight for a close SD.

    Aldo by late round submission

    Guilard KO

    Sonnen by GnP TKO

    Pettis by KO

    Maia by submission

    Garcia by KO

Lots of fights with good potential

He did look good against Nunes, didnt look to gas, which was one of the worries coming down, but as we say just think Aldo will have too much in the stand up, his kicks will be the telling factor me thinks!

Enjoyable fight card. Sonnen looked bad ass. Hope they stick him straight back in there with Silva.

Great win for Frankie Edgar. I'd really like the UFC to match him and Aldo in a big unification matchup.

They could meet halfway, Edgar would have no trouble dropping a few pounds.

Come on Dana, make that fight.

Dana said if he wants to move down to featherweight and fight for the title He can. Although he wouldn't make a catchweight why would either of them want to do that.

So that both titles could be on the line?

Both fighters meet halfway, winner takes both belts. Would make for a nice event.

If Aldo and Frankie fight I hope it is for one belt or another. No catchweights. It is one things for guys like Penn to float back and forth for big fights but the Champion should be in one weight class only. Honestly with Melendez coming over Edgar has plenty on his plate w/o worrying about Aldo. Throw in possible matches with Guida, Pettis, Lauzon, Bendo etc and unless Aldo is going to make the move to LW Frankie should concentrate on cleaning out his division.

Your joking right? Both belts on the line haha oh and the winner must defend both belts jumping up and down in weight. Genius.
