Default ESPN FNF brings you Liakhovich vs Chambers???

It's great that we're going to get a heavyweight fight between 2 people we know but IMO its a horrible style matchup!

Heavyweights Sergei Liakhovich, Eddie Chambers to kick off 'NBC Sports Network Fight Night' - ESPN

Eddie Chambers needs to stop wasting time at heavyweight and fight at cruiserweight where he could actually make some noise. He's a good boxer, but lacks the pop and size of a true heavyweight.

Hey I'll take it. When is this? I think Chambers can beat him. I haven't seen liakhovich recently but remember him being in bloated form not to long ago?!

Chambers SHOULD take Liakhovich who was last seen getting his nose flattened by Robert Helenius. Damn shame because in his day Liakhovich was a decent fighter, that battle with Brewster was something else man!

It looks like this fight marks the debut of the "NBC Sports Network Fight Night", the rebirth of the old "Versus" channel, so it won't be on ESPN FNF. This is good news, another sports network showing boxing, good deal. As for the fight, it's not great, but it should be entertaining.

If we keep getting fights like this boxing won't last long on that channel.

    I'd rather see Arreola-Chambers and Liakhovich-Sam Peter

I like those match ups too. The HW division is so full of inertia it is a relief when any of them finally decide to fight.

Before he got caught by Helanius, Liakhovich was looking pretty sharp and winning the fight. Least I thought so.

This is a good match up for FNF's standards and budget.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
