When it comes to records the truth is if you aren't Ali/Frazier/Foreman and to a lesser extent Lewis/Holy/Tyson then you don't have a top list of HWs to compare too. Even the second three can have holes punched in them. Lewis fought Holy and Tyson late in their careers. Tyson's signature win was a blown up LHW in Spinks. Holy's best HW win was against a washed up Tyson. I don't know if Vitali makes it in my top 10 HWs but I'd pay good money to watch him fight any HW that did make my all time top 10.

Judge a man by the company he keeps, in the ring in this case. He's beaten all that have been in save for 2 that when put into perspective he's redeemed himself. I don't believe he's 'ducked' anyone and to consider he's 40+ years old and off a 4 yr retirement I'd say its a little late in the day to call him overrated. Has he had the stellar names and quality opposition that made up the 70's or early 90's ? No, but you work with what you have. If he had he surely would have some blemishes just as a Lewis, Foreman, Tyson etc etc do. In fairness the same can be said if Vitali had kept company with those eras, save for Lewis where he didn't do so shabby. Yeh yeh I know Lewis was "old or out of shape"?! You work with what you have. Anyones record can be dissected.
This is past his best Vitali. You can't say he is suddenly overrated, most his failings can easily be attributed to being old without argument.
Overrated now maybe because he is so old, but not for his career.
When your power has no affect on a man you can be made to look pretty average.

Seems like vitali has injured himself again SecondsOut Boxing News - Main News - Vitali Klitschko Injury Update .. might just be excuses though, which shoulder did he injure v Byrd? If it is a real injury then I have to think he will retire very soon he has had so many injuries before and getting injured at the age of 40 is very bad for a pro sportsman.. shame, he is one of my favourites I will be sad to see him go
The Klitschko brothers are better than I thought they were. They have both beaten everyone placed in front of them.
I think people like Dan Raphael and many others have gotten carried away with how "great" the Klitschkos are, but they are good heavyweights who have been made to look very good at times due to absolutely pathetic opposition.
Chisora had something that practically every other Klit opponent has lacked, HUNGER.
And Vitali is getting older, but aside from the lack of a jab, he pretty much boxed the same way he always does and Wlad does. Safety first, chipping away at the opponent, not taking any chances, and looking to methodically (boringly) win the fight.
