After the January lull, what a terrific night of boxing to start of boxing in 2012.

Vitali Klitschko UD Dereck Chisora: the closest Vitali fight, and arguably the most entertaining, in quite a while. Let's not forget the hand-wrapping controversy to start the night in Germany, followed by the Chisora spitting water in Vitali's face pre-fight.

Add in the post-fight Haye-Chisora brawl, and we have ourselves something to be excited about in the heavyweight division.

Adonis Stevenson KO 1 Jesus Gonzales: the early leading candidate for knockout of the year.

Cloud MD Campillo: a robbery, but a great fight nonetheless. In Campillo, we have a new force majeure at light heavyweight.

Arreola KO 1 Molina: Isn't Arreola always in fun fights? For Erics44, and all the other "entertaining" heavyweight junkies out there, Arreola is your man. In the first round, he's tagged by Molina, appears to be on the brink of losing by knockout to Molina, and comes back with a volley of gangster punches to send Molina to the canvas.

Williams UD Ishida wasn't a boring fight by any means, but in comparison to the other fights last night, it was just so-so. Goes to show how great of a night it was for boxing.

On that same card, Malik Scott was in a decent fight too and Lopez was upset.

Magee KO 5 Markusson: By all accounts, this was a good fight too. Does anyone have footage for it? I couldn't find it for the thread.

Eubank Jr. and Kid Galahad were in tough fights. Kid Galahad, Eubank Jr. Overcome Adversity To Win Bouts - Boxing News

Lastly, Jorge Arce KO 5 Lorenzo Parra.

February 18, 2012 was one of the best nights of boxing in a very, long time.
