Default The other May 5th Card: Huck v. Afolabi; Dimitrenko v. Pulev

Actually looks more competitive than the PBF/Cotto/Canelo/Shane card and a better card too.

How active is Huck these days? It's refreshing from the fighting twice a year we see more often with top fighters. He fought in February against Povetkin, losing a debatable decision and this will be his sixth fight in 16 months. Afolabi-Huck should be fun. Dimitrenko-Pulev is a toss up to me. Also on the card, Stieglitz is fighting Hamdan, which should be a easy win for Stieglitz. Dustin Dirks is facing Ulrich in a step up in competition fight. It's actually quite a list of boxing matches.

On the same night, We also have Chris John facing undeserving Kimura and Daud Yordan oddly facing a tougher challenge in rising Philipino featherweight, Villanueva.

Last, Paul McCloskey is facing Demarcus Corley in Ireland, accompanied by the prizefighter show.

Huck did well against povetkin which is very surprising considering huck basically has no amateur experience and just "clubs" people while povetkin is a gold medalist, before I even read what ya said I was like wow hes being active... it's going to be a good saturday didnt know all these fights were on will stream this and then catch the pbf card at a bar

will Pulev be able to take Dimitrenko? at first glance you'd expect Dimitrenko to have the advantage, but Pulev's amateur background suggests otherwise.

I think Huck & Stieglitz will win decisions. The Huck decision could be another close one...probably a MD or SD.

I like Pulev over Dimitrenko as well.

Corley will give McCloskey a hard fight IMO.

Rafael Marquez is fighting Saturday in Tijuana. His opponent is Kenichi Yamaguchi.

I'll take a shot in the dark and say Villanueva beats Yordan.

I think Huck gets a decision and Pulev stops Dimitrenko.

Huck loses, Afolabi has improved a lot since their first fight and Huck is painful to watch. He hurts my brain, the atrocity that you could despairingly call his style makes my eyes want to jump out of their sockets.

How the Huck can he defend his title so soon at a substantially lower weight. Roy Jones could not do it?

My stream went down...had to find another one. Only caught the last 30 seconds of round 7. Dimitrenko corner sounds worried.

If you need one...I'll hook you up.

Dimitrenko looks to be breaking down slightly.
