Danny Jacobs' Battle with Cancer and Return to the Ring..

Did anyone know this about Danny Jacobs? I did a search of the forum and saw nothing. The guy had a huge tumour in his back, almost crippled! Pretty amazing that he made a comeback over the weekend.

Ohh wow, that is something. I just saw the tail end of him being interviewed by Brian Kenny the other night, didn't get why he was being praised so much as I wasn't even sure he'd fought or anything. Just googled it myself and it was a rare bone cancer he had, pretty incredible to come back from that at all. I'd imagine that he had chemo and it was very succesful, if he'd gotten a marrow transplant or anything like that he certainly couldn't have been in fighting shape perhaps ever again.

Saw the interview with Brian Kenny and remember reading something about it few months ago.

Good for Jacobs. Inspiring that he beat cancer and made it back to the ring, the guy has a lot of talent.

Him and Anthony Dirrell both have come back from cancer at an astoundingly early age.

very touching and inspirational story that hits very close to home, seeing how I lost someone very close to me 5 months ago who died from cancer at just 26, I wish Jacobs all the best in the future, the fact that he beat the disease (hopefully for good) is already a success story

It's amazing what he has accomplished since recovering from cancer. I thought he was a class act during his post fight interview and I am looking forward to watching him fight again.
