Just for grins, I wonder how people would react if you (VC) and Miles had given each other's responses.

At least he doesn't have to worry about getting eaten by sharks.
Most sharks are probably too afraid to get near those humoungous waves.

That is insane mate. The first waves are Tahiti at Teachopoo the thickest lip on any wave around. The next one where the surfer goes to his right and you can see rocks in the foreground is down here in Tasmania below Port Arthur its cold hard water and you can see how shallow it is because it causes a little wave to appear in the face and you see them having to jump over the double wave inside the main big barrel,Shipsterns bluff, its warped.

I think that massive big right hander later where the guy gets closed down, is Hawaiis north shores biggest wave Jaws.
Ive only surfed tripple over head waves half the size of the smallest one shown here. and all the words you hear that guy saying he was praying were the exact words i was praying too when caught in front of a set with no escape.

You get whats called rag doll'd.

Hey bro... the fact that you've surfed waves a lot bigger than you, automatically puts you in a select group. I'm not a surfer... tried surfing when I was younger but could never successfully stand on the board. It was rather humiliating, since I tend to catch on rather quick on most any sport I've ever tried. Water skiing I can do halfway decent. Surfing... forget it.

And talk about those monster waves. If it takes major "cojones" to ride those waves in deep water, it goes beyond any bravery known to man to ride those monsters in shallow water with reefs underneath. And when McNamara talks about guys getting their limbs ripped off (with just the skin holding everything together).... shit!! I don't care how much fun it is. You're not catching me anywhere near one of those waves.

"While blindfold chess has been recommended in moderation by many sources as a method of increasing one's playing strength, simultaneous blindfold exhibitions were officially banned in 1930 in the USSR as they were deemed to be a health hazard."

A German guy played 46 people simultaneously whilst blindfolded . 25 Wins 19 Draws 2 losses.

Ok... forget surfing big waves. Forget BASE jumping. Forget wingsuit flying.
    Forget kayaking off waterfalls.

Hey @Andre , here's another video of wingsuit proximity flying.

Stunning wingsuit proximity flying in Norway

These guys are off the charts.
Hard to pick between surfing 100-foot waves, sheer rock climbing, and this endeavor.
