I'd love to hear some of your thoughts when facing against what appears to be a for sure loss.

You just finished round 1 in a 3 round fight.
    - Your legs are done because you either went to hard in the first round, your nerves got the best of you, or you just didn't train hard enough
    - Your opponent is Faster
    - Your opponent is Stronger
    - Your opponent is just fukking better than you

I'm sure this has happened to just about everyone who has competed before.

What do you do for the next 2 rounds?

for the fighter u got 2 options

    1. go out on your shield n hope for the best
    2. see number 1

for the trainer it's your job to keep your guy safe first. so use sound judgement and measure the risk vs reward option of continuing. realize he may not like the you ending it call, but live with the right choice iyo.

"I thought you told me you were doing your roadwork...The second round is for lying."
I'd tell him something like that.

"Oh well look we got nothing to lose go for disruption, they only have two arms, you have two arms, so deal with them any way you wish, punch, block, disrupt, smother just their arms for while, see what happens to their distancing for a round if you break their timing up and see an opening then step in and go for it. Oh and heres your hat."

What to say when all seems already been said?
