ooohhhh cutmemick Mario Falcone
Miles Carol McGiffin is in the house...
Wow, this is still going! I just thought you were on the wind-up, but no apparently it is still going on Channel 5.
Kudos to you Saddo, watching Channel 5, I bet they are in shock as they have got a real viewer. And I am all for bringing back 2003, not least because I would be dreading my 30th, not 40th Birthday!

My Mrs just said Big Ron went in?
kinda sad that people choose to vote for a 'fat geordie slag' who pisses the bed on national tv...
Quite hard to take any sort of moral or intellectual highground when you willingly give your time to watch this dribble Missy...
Also like most of the 'people' on that show, she's not actually a Geordie... She's from SUNDERLAND, making her a Mackam.
We don't want her, thanks.
Maybe if they didn't know they were being filmed. They're all playing a character, more so than anybody would in real life. Mist of them have a publicist before they even enter the house. They're told how to behave to maximise the potential of a tabloid celeb magazine career, hardly what I would call 'reality'.
The phenomenom is sociologically interesting, not the shows themselves. It's got to be very gratifying to the ego to look down upon people worse than us... horrible people behaving teribbly. Much, much easier and safer than self improvement or development, completely unconstructive, like mcdonalds for the soul.
There are several better ways to enlighten or simply entertain yourself than watching unremarkable people doing unremarkable things ala Big Brother and it's bastard spawn?
meh... I enjoyed the show but then like to see what makes people tick, the game they play and social forced interaction it just interests me and the fact they know the cameras are there enhances it all.
the USA version bests the UK one by miles as the public do not vote so the gameplans and intelligence needed to win make it a totally better, more real and interesting show. (even thou it is prob less real)
but then I don't watch a movie and think look at all these people playing a part... I just enjoy it
The difference being that a good film has some depth to it, plot, character development, filmography.
If you strip all of that away then all you're left with is a bunch of fake, obnoxious narcisissts that are willing to humilate themselves to strike it rich with minimal work and talent.
I often hear the psychology/sociology argument but I honestly believe that subconciously the only reason that these shows become addictive is because having a fishtank full of awful, base people to look down on just makes us feel good about ourselves.
'I can't believe that fat geordie slag won, she's a terrible person' deep down that makes us feel better about ourselves and costs us no effort at all.
Nothing wrong with that in itself, it's just not my cup of tea and (incorrectly) sandwiching Geordie inbetween two (other?) insults is only gonna wind this Geordie up!
filmography Cinematography ?
