All these so called fighters at 168 and 175, none of them would have won a round vs prime Roy Jones.

Ward would have been a challenge for Jones.
Roy was great but he still would have played basketball before a fight and not leave his own country.

To be honest, Roy would have been a champion in this era too of course but to say he would have blasted through those weights like they were nothing is ridiculous. Ward, Stevenson would have been stiff competition for Roy. GGG, Kovalev would have been dangerous opponents for him as we know Roy's achilles heel was on his jawline.
Great boxer though, prime Roy is right there at the top!

Yeah I don't understand the thing about him having a bad chin. In his 15 years of pure brilliance, he was dropped once (and it was a flash knockdown that he jumped right up from).
Even when he was washed up, the punches that knocked him out were all bombs that landed in the right place.
Nobody in the history of the 168 and 175 divisions could touch prime Roy. People say "glass jaw this, Archie Moore, Bob Foster, ect". Too slow. They would have been obliterated.
I dont believe Ward has anything for Jones.. none, nothing, nada..
Max, are you really going to mention Stevenson and Kovalev? lol

I think Ward could win a couple of rounds that's it though.
Roy jones was truly gifted.
I would have loved to have seen how floyd would have dealt with a prime roy jones.
A complete chess match with speed, skill and timing..and defence.
I dont remember rj having no real defence it was just speed power and showboating.
A complete invisible chin when he wanted it to be.
We see his flaws now but he beat tarver the first time and thats all i need to remember.
Roy went 15 years as an unbeatable force (besides the lame DQ to Griffen which was avenged by brutal 1st round KO).
Floyd's the only better fighter I've seen in my time watching boxing.
