So Floyd is talking bull when he says he walks around under welterweight naturally after Canelo fight.

Floyd could be sparring with me, have Stevie Wonder work his corner, let Maidana have Panama Lewis, move the fight to Texas, insist on Lawrence Cole as the ref, and he still wouldn't have to worry about losing a round in this one.

Even having Maidana's family as judges.

Anything can happen..could be a massive upset.

Broner is no mayweather but at least maidana has a slight feeling of that type of fighter and he will have a better minor blueprint than anyone else..

Floyd is definitely getting bigger these days. I hope he plans to make an attempt at middleweight soon. But I don't like how unevenly his added weight is distributed. He'll need to sturdy up his base if he's going to ever carry middleweight weight well.

He should be 'sparring' a featherweight pac 12 rounds instead...
...just kiddin' fellas, don't get upset.
Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.

Yeah, there does seem to be a bit of a pudge(love handles). Remember how pudgy DLH was trying to be a middleweight for the Sturm fight? He figured out for the Bhop fight its best to be at your best weight than to put on any kind of weight just to suit the weight class. Heck, up until the "stoppage" DLH did better against Bhop than Sturm. Everybody has a peak weight and its best to be at or around that then to conform to a certain weight class. Floyd even at 154.1 for a middleweight fight might be chubby in comparison to his peak weight. But to the thread's point. I would like to see more of the sparring if there is any out there. You can't really take anything from clips. I'm sure all of us have done great in spurts against much bigger guys. I use to make a couple of heavyweight guys look silly in parts of most rounds. As I'm sure a lot of guys could do let alone THE master boxer Floyd on a 168er. Floyd could probably make Ward look bad in a lot of parts of rounds of sparring. Floyd knows this and he also knows that sparring can be the great deceiver.
