Ok im going to pretend im orthodox so not to add extra complexity.
When I throw a straight right hand it squares my hips up and I usually follow it with a left hook or a left uppercut.
But this time I want to follow my straight right with a straight left from the square on hip position.
What im unsure about is how far I should rotate my hips to fire this unorthodox straight shot off.
Do I rotate my hips till im back in my stance?
Till Im side on?
Not sure where to stop rotating because if you rotate too much it ruins the punch, too little and you dont get optimal power, its hard to know just the right place to stop and since no trainers teach this I cant find it on a you tube video. A left hook or left uppercut is more forgiving because it doesnt matter if you over rotate a bit.
How do you do it?
