    Default FNF: Boxcino finals

It all comes to a conclusion tonight in the middleweight and lightweight finals. Its been a decent and pretty entertaining tournament by ESPN. The Middleweights see Brandon Adams 14-0 (9) and Willie Monroe jr. 17-1 (6) over 10. Looking forward to this fight more so than the main event. I like Adams a lot!

Petr Petrov 34-4-2 (16) takes on Fernando Carcamo 17-5 (13) in the lightweight finale.

Undertstand that all 4 of these guys have been raised to top 15 rankings by wba?!

1-1 even up. Monroe sharp but rolls are as clear as day here. Adams trying to cut the southpaw down...Monroe great hit and move in 3rd so far..Adams again forcing exchanges to close round and has effect but played spectator too long. Tough round, like Monroes boxing there. 2-1 Monroe

Man, very sharp counters by Monroe end 4th. Literally read him like a book to close...Adams needs to take the knocks to get in and be effective..he is in lala land on the end of Monroes jab too often. 3-1 Monroe

Nice exchange in 6th, Adams finally caught him and backed him..hits Adams low and Adams takes a hard hook while complaining to ref. Gritty round, 4-2 Monroe

Looked better than it actually was on replay, but its in the books

Trying to finds gaps for Adams, they are just not there in mass. Monroe beating him to the punch and doing a solid job of punching between a squared up Adams 1,2s along the ropes in 8th. Nice little heat up on ropes. Damn. 6-2 Monroe

7-2...corner telling him go for broke. Monroe showing sharpness and swagger absent earlier in tourney...completely on point, just leaving shadows for Adams to swing at when in ring center

Good fight! I know what you mean about Teddy, but I like the turkey.
I have a cousin watching the fights with me, who spends most of the night, telling Teddy to shut up.

Good win for Monroe. Maybe he'll get a Show Box date out of it and keep moving up

What the hell is going on here, am I having a flashback?
We have two fighters from the US in the ring and they seem to have respect for each other. It's damn near un-Ameriican behavior.

He is def worth the exposure. Interesting to hear him say he is going back down to 154 after just beating a top ten ranked middle, had no idea Adams was #6 wtf, woah

Petrov and Fernando Carcamo at the opening bell.

Petrov beginning to act a little Putin in 2nd...boarders, what boarders. Carcamo looks unsteady here? Flat.
